GET the tissues ready. This video of a determined two-year-old amputee trying to take his first steps while assuring everyone "I got it" has gone viral.

Kayden Elijah Kinckle, of New Jersey, was born with an omphalocele, a type of hernia that often means organs grow on the outside the baby's navel. A band wrapped around Kayden's legs and feet which led to some deformity. In January, he had to have his right foot and left leg amputated.

His mum, Nikki Kinko, posted this video to YouTube on July 4 hoping to raise $US50,000 for her son's medical expenses.

"We are confident and faithful that God will make a way for him to have a wonderful life and not have to go to special schools," Kinckle wrote on her GoFundMe page.

However once New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick posted the video on his Facebook page, the video started to go viral and has now been shared more than 100,000 times.

The family has raised more than $US6000 of their $US50,000 fundraising goal.
