LADIES love tradies. That is the message coming through loud and clear as female TV viewers embrace hotties on House Rules and The Block.
Women are turning these reality shows into hits — thanks to a love of bulging biceps as male contestants work up a sweat renovating homes and apartments.
A whopping 64 per cent of House Rules viewers are women, helping the Channel 7 show to regularly break through the 1.5 million viewers mark.
Earlier this year, the heavily tattooed Dale Vine had the ladies in a lather as he partnered with Brad Cranfield to work on an Albert Park apartment in The Block: Fans v Faves.

Vine is so popular with women that Channel 9 executives have been looking for other shows for the 32-year-old landscaper.
Now it is time for the House Rules guys to get in on the act with Victorian carpenter and builder Adam Dovile and electrician Ryan Pusic from New South Wales unleashing the abs.

"I've had a bit more attention (from the ladies) than I'm used to, that's for sure," Ryan says. "I'm not used to walking down the street and getting wolf-whistled."
Queensland's Lloyd Wright is another favourite with female fans.
"We call Lloyd 'the specimen'," Adam says.
Twitter went into overdrive when Adam and Ryan unleashed their bodies at a pool party during Maddi and Lloyd's home renovation in Townsville when temperatures hit 40 degrees.

"Anyone in those conditions would have taken their top off," Adam says. "It was that hot. I was camping up there for seven days."
Ryan and Adam deny that any of the contestants were cast on House Rules because of their looks. Instead, it is sheer hard work doing back-to-back renovations that is helping the sixpacks.
"I definitely exercise," Ryan says. "I'm into the gym and running and keeping healthy. Adam is just genetically blessed."
