A US woman who had lost 45kg felt good enough about herself to don a bikini at her local pool.
No sooner had Madelyn Sheaffer gone for a dip, she was told to cover up or get out.
Sheaffer went to Adventure Oasis Water Park in Independence, Missouri, with five other people, including her niece and nephew.
After she got into the pool, she said she was told by two staff members to put on some shorts, stating her bottoms were too small.
"I just felt like I was singled out," Sheaffer told TV station KSHB. "I felt like it was both age and body discrimination."

Sheaffer complained to the pool manager, who told her to leave if she did not want to cover up. She added that there were other girls at the pool in similar attire.
"There are 16- or 18-year-old girls wearing just the same amount and no one's criticising them or making them feel ashamed or feel uncomfortable in their bodies," Sheaffer told KSHB.
The City of Independence said it was the decision of the pool management to decide if a person's attire is appropriate or not. There was no discrimination against Sheaffer, the spokesman said.
Sheaffer asked that the police be called - they escorted her out of the pool complex - and filed a complaint.
