Moth lays eggs in reporter’s ear

AN AFRICAN Moon moth decided this news reporter's ear would make a great spot to lay its eggs.

Bob Barnard, a Washington D.C. reporter was at the Smithsonian Nation Museum of Natural History for a live interview.

The moth is seen sitting on his top like a brooch at the beginning of the segment but starts to make its way up to his ear after a minute or so as Barnard says 'This guy is crawling my neck".

Barnard even jokes saying "Oo, it bit me … no it didn't".

Next minute, there are two eggs just sitting in his ear.
