A SECOND shootout is happening at a kosher grocery in eastern Paris with reports suggesting that a man has as many as six hostages.
Police named Amedy Coulibaly as the gunman who has taken hostages in the kosher supermarket called Hyper Cacher — translated as Super Kosher — at the porte de Vincennes in eastern Paris.
AFP and BFM TV are both reporting two dead in the incident. Ambulances are streaming to the scene with the area in lockdown and swarming with heavily armed police.

Additionally, a woman, Hayat Boumeddiene, 26, Coulibaly's partner since 2010, has also been listed by police as a suspect in the second hostage situation but did not say if she was at the kosher grocery.

A police official said Coulibaly, 33, is believed to be the same man who shot and killed police officer Clarissa Jean-Philippe, 27, who was killed when she was on patrol in the suburb of Montrouge following the Charlie Hebdo attack.

The suspect reportedly told police officers at the scene: "You know who I am."
Coulibaly and Charlie Hebdo suspect Chérif Kouachi two of the most committed followers of convicted terrorist Djamel Beghal. Telephone conversations reveal that the pair had previously visited Beghal's home.
An eyewitness who gave his name as Fabian told French media that a man walked into the deli and started firing.
"There was an individual - African - who had a Kalashnikov ... and he immediately went into the deli and he started shooting with his Kalashnikov," he said.

President Francois Hollande is overseeing operations in the Elysee's situation room as the two hostage situations unfold.
