THIS is a warning to toy buyers everywhere — looks can be deceiving.

While this walking, squeaking giraffe may look innocent and sweet, it is anything but especially once it opens its mouth.

The toy, which has been labelled demonic and frightening, has now found itself an unlikely YouTube star after a video of it in action was uploaded to the video sharing site two days ago.

Called Devil Giraffe, the toy can be seen, walking, cheeking and screeching during the one minute clip uploaded by nuttyturnip.

While obviously a toy malfunction, that didn't stop the comments rolling in think and fast.

'Big Booty Smasher' saw the lighter side of the demonic sounding toy.

"This. Is. Euphoric," he said.

"I've studied giraffes in great detail and this is the exact noise and motion for a mating call. The creators of this toy knew what they were doing and obviously spared no expense on R & D. If you have any friends that enjoy animals I highly recommend you give them one for Christmas. "They will not only love it but be impressed you knew so much about giraffes."

Another posted: "There is only one option; kill it with fire."

'BenDoesGames' was a little more to the point.

"Holy ****, Kill it," he posted.

Either way, we're sure there are many parents who probably would be reluctant to put this toy under their tree.
