The death comes in the same week as Australian businessman, Robert Ellis, was murdered and his body dumped in a rice paddy. His Indonesian wife, Noor, their two housemaids and one of the four alleged killers is in custody, accused of the grisly killing.
The surfing accident occurred on Friday, October 24 at around 12.30 local time (3.30pm AEDT) at Kuta Reef (a-well known surf break in Kuta).
The latest victim, who fell unconscious while surfing, was on holiday staying at a Kuta hotel with his wife, from October 22 to 25. The couple are from Malvern.

Denpasar water police chief I Wayan Redip, said that the victim was surfing at Kuta Reef surfbreak when he appeared to suddenly fall unconsicous or faint.
"The beach lifeguard then evacuated the victim by jetski to the beach.
He was taken to BIMC (Bali International Medical Centre). But after two hours treated, his life can't be saved," Mr Redip said.
Mr Redip said that the victim appeared to have suffered a health problem.
Mr Redip said that the victim was alone at that time, as his wife had not accompanied him to the beach.
The body is now in Sanglah hospital in Denpasar.
The head of Sanglah morgue, Dudut Rustyadi, said "We received the body at 3pm from BIMC," Dr Rustyadi said.
