The Philadelphia Eagles have won three from three for the first time in 10 years, after a 37-34 victory over the Washington Redskins, but the result was overshadowed by a huge all in brawl in the fourth quarter.

THAT punch you saw? It was taken out of context, Ray Rice says.

When the former Baltimore Ravens star appeals his indefinite suspension from the NFL, he plans to argue the tape of him punching his then-fiancée was edited, ESPN reported.

Rice's legal team will maintain the video of him decking Janay Rice is "a cleaned-up, whittled-down and condensed version," according to the report.

In July, the league suspended Rice for two games — until TMZ revealed the inside-the-elevator footage, which shows Rice belting Palmer.

At that point, he was suspended indefinitely.

TMZ responded to the report with a story headlined "dumbest defence ever".

"As we initially reported, the original raw video was jerky ... so we removed the reverse frames," TMZ reported.
