YOU don't often see people relieving themselves on TV. Unless you're watching The Amazing Race, that is.
Even then, it only applies to one Aussie contestant in particular — Tyson — who is in The Amazing Race Australia v New Zealand with his partner, Sally.
"No joke, he was just going to the toilet constantly," she says. "It's like racing with a 100-year-old elderly man. But I think it was nervous wees."

Personal trainer Tyson, 38, says despite delays because of his "tiny bladder" — including one stop as they sprinted towards the end of a leg — staying healthy while racing is paramount.
"If I did (the race) again I'd have to look at investing in some nappies," he jokes.
"I actually drink a lot of water. A lot of people don't drink enough in cold countries. You remember when it's hot. So I was making sure I would keep my water intake up, but you don't sweat it out. So I was going to the toilet … They only show, one in four pees. I was peeing so much, if they put all my toilet stops in it would be 20 minutes of Tyson going to the toilet in each episode. People are going to think, 'Is there something wrong with him?'."
Tyson proposed to Sally, a vet, while filming the show, during a pit stop in snowy Russia. He kept the engagement ring carefully hidden in a sock, at the bottom of his backpack, but is glad the secret is out.

"We haven't made any wedding plans, it's hard to do when you can't share it with people," he says. Sally has a more definite schedule in mind.
"I want to get married and I want to have kids," she says. "Maybe early next year."
Beyond wedding plans, the pair will be thrilled if their 15 minutes of fame leads to further work in the media.
"It highlighted for us how much power media has," Sally says.
"Changing people's minds or perspectives ... It is scary, but it can be positive.
"Tyson obviously believes in health and fitness, and I believe in that. And I believe in animal welfare as well, so if anything comes our way … it would be great. But we understand only a small handful of people get to do that."
