AUSTRALIA'S Commonwealth Games athletes are attracting attention for their fighting spirit and their style.
As the new uniforms are unveiled for the first time today a month out from competition, long jumper Brooke Stratton is happy just to be going to Glasgow.
The Victorian Institute of Sport star fought a mystery illness for two years, then was diagnosed with coeliac disease.
She is now ranked third in the Commonwealth.
"Any colour medal would be absolutely amazing,'' she said.

"It's something you dream about so if it actually happened it would be crazy.''
The uniform — to be worn for competition, training and delegations — will be launched in Melbourne today.
Sprint star Ashleigh Whittaker and pole-vaulter Joel Pocklington took the track and field uniforms for a workout for the Herald Sun. "I love it. It's really comfortable and the colours are great," Whittaker said.
A record 104 Victorians will be among 417 Australians across 18 sports at the Games.

The uniforms, designed and manufactured by Diadora, include everything from track and field shorts, tights, singlets and bodysuits to home and away hockey and netball outfits.
Australian Team Chef de Mission Steve Moneghetti said the uniform was "eye-catching" and would be worn by our athletes with pride.
