US President Barack Obama snubbed a girl's request for a selfie with him, so who can get a selfie with one of the world's most powerful leaders?
While visiting South Korea, he stopped to greet a group of schoolchildren, including a teenage girl holding a bright orange sign.
Mika Taylor, the 13-year-old, who had the sign, wrote on it: "Mr. President, may I have a selfie with you?"
The president smiled and greeted her, but didn't take a picture with her.

The selfie snub now begs the question of what do you need, or who do you have to be to get a selfie with the president?
One thing is for sure, Obama is no stranger to a selfie, and the White House does not ban selfies.
Here are some of our observations:
YOU NEED TO BE CLOSE TO THE PRESIDENT
Recently, Obama joined Vice-President Joe Biden in a selfie, which Biden posted on his newly created Instagram feed.
"Found a friend to join my first selfie on Instagram. Thanks for following and stay tuned. — VP," read the caption for the photo of Biden and Obama in what appears to be the back of a motorcade.

YOU NEED TO BE RICH AND FAMOUS
Obama also posed in a selfie with Boston Red Sox baseball player David Ortiz at a White House event and tweeted it to his followers.
While the post sparked controversy after Samsung retweeted the photo as a corporate advertisement, Obama was still up for the selfie.

YOU NEED TO BE POWERFUL ... VERY POWERFUL
No one will ever forget when Obama was caught taking a seflie with UK Prime Minister David Cameron and Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning at Nelson Mandela's funeral last year.
The photo was taken about two hours into the memorial service and after Obama's rousing speech about Mandela.

OBAMA'S SELFIE POWER HAS NOT BEATEN ELLEN'S YET
While Obama's selfie at Mandela's funeral did go viral around the world, it wasn't nearly as popular as Ellen DeGeneres' Oscar selfie this year, which broke Obama's record for having the most retweeted tweet of all time.
Obama called DeGeneres' selfie a "cheap stunt" afterwards, but seeing as though he likes to chat to Ellen on her show, she might be able to hook you up in the future.
Now a selfie with Ellen and Obama, would it be big enough to break the internet?
We'll have to wait and see.
