A motorcyclist used a helmet camera to film himself jumping red lights, racing, pulling wheelies and getting arrested.
A MOTORCYCLIST has been banned from driving after being caught out by his own helmet camera, which he used to film his wild riding.
Lewis Shallcross, 20, of Crownhill in Plymouth, England, had his KTM 125cc motorbike confiscated by Judge Paul Darlow, who also demanded his helmet, the Daily Mirror reported.
Police in an unmarked car saw Shallcross riding his motorbike at about 60mph (100kmh) on a road with a 30mph (50kmh) limit in Plymouth just before midnight last August. His headlights were switched off.
When Shallcross was stopped, a police officer saw he had a camera mounted on his helmet.
When police looked at the footage they saw Shallcross had filmed himself pulling wheelies, speeding over a footbridge and through a park almost hitting other vehicles. He also filmed himself racing a friend with no lights on.

In December Shallcross was stopped by police again after he was speeding along a street and pulling wheelies.
Shallcross pleaded guilty at Plymouth Crown Court to dangerous driving and careless driving.
Shallcross, a roofer, paid £3,500 ($6400) for the motorbike and spent another £4,000 ($7300) on it, the court heard.
He was also ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work, banned from driving for 18 months and has to take a re-test for the dangerous driving, and had his licence endorsed and must pay a £60 ($100) victim surcharge for the careless driving.
