A CHRISTIAN children's entertainer has been jailed for 20 years over macabre plans to kidnap, cook and eat a child.

Ronald Brown, of Florida, spoke about the sin of child pornography on his long-running children's show on the Christian Television Network. However authorities caught him with child pornography, including particularly obscene images of kids being tied up, gagged and harmed.

In online chats he and co-conspirator Michael Arnett spoke about their cannibalistic fantasies.

"I imagine him wiggling and then going still," he said in one of the online chats.

Perhaps the only person less popular than Brown is George Zimmerman. His brother Robert Zimmerman has told a US website that the family is receiving 400 death threats every minute on social media sites like Twitter since George Zimmerman was acquitted of shooting unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin.

"No one has really asked us to get into the psychological aspect of this," Robert Zimmerman said. "You don't know if someone stops you in public and says, "excuse me sir", you don't know if you dropped your wallet or if someone recognises you and wants to kill you."
